Training with no red tape–here’s how it works:
- Eligibility requirements for On-the-Job Training must be met by all new applicants.
- Existing employees are already eligible for Incumbent Worker Training.
- Company policies and procedures aren’t affected.
- Mobile Works reduces your workload by doing virtually all paperwork. Any business within any industry in Mobile County may receive assistance.
- Businesses within the state of Alabama relocating or expanding to Mobile County may also be eligible.
- Pay workers on your company payroll and get reimbursed monthly.
- Mobile Works typically writes agreements for jobs starting at $9.00 or more per hour.
- You are in control of your employees. But, it is our expectation that new hires, who successfully complete training and maintain quality work ethics, be employed long-term with your company.
- No obligation to hire through Mobile Works–the final decision is yours.
