GIA A. DINGES JOINS MOBILE WORKS AS DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Mobile, AL � Mobile Works, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Gia Dinges as Director of Marketing. Dinges will oversee marketing communications, public relations, branding and marketing strategy for Mobile Works. She will also market the Alabama Career Center, a partner of Mobile Works and an important community resource for businesses and jobseekers.

Dinges is recognized as a market-driven, solutions-oriented business leader with more than 10 years of experience in marketing, branding, public relations, advertising and product development. Most recently, she served as Product Manager for DI Foodservice Companies, a $122 million leading global manufacturer and marketer of foodservice steam, refrigeration and ventilation equipment in Jackson, MS, where she managed product management and marketing for the $55.6 million steam products category. Prior to DI Foodservice she served as Senior Product Manager at RadioShack Corporation, a $4.7 billion leading manufacturer and marketer of consumer electronics products in Fort Worth, Texas, where Dinges managed their $1.5 billion line of telecommunications products. Dinges said, �I am excited to be in Mobile and to be part of an organization that has the opportunity to positively impact the bottom line of every business and the lives of every person in the greater Mobile, Alabama area.�

Dinges was hired for her position through the Alabama Career Center, which is a one-stop career center, supported by the state of Alabama and the federal government, offering free employment services available to all businesses and jobseekers. The Alabama Career Center in Mobile currently has 13,817 active jobseekers on file, of which 11.8% have associate degrees; 6.9% hold a bachelor�s degree or higher and 12.7% have 5 or more years of experience in their field, according to Career Center statistics. William C. Parker, Senior Manager of the Alabama Career Center said, �With the Career Center�s readily available labor pool of highly-skilled degreed professionals, we were simply the most logical choice for our partner Mobile Works in their search for a marketing professional capable of handling the challenges ahead for both of our organizations.�
