Mobile Works accepting applications for training scholarships in mid-November

 

     Job seekers interested in training scholarships will have the opportunity to apply in mid-November at the Alabama Career Center, 515 Springhill Plaza Court.  Training applications in aviation, maritime, transportation, healthcare and advanced manufacturing 

will be available on the following dates:  

   

In order to apply for training scholarships, job seekers must meet the following criteria and have appropriate documents on hand  

  • meet admission requirements and receive admission to preferred training program
  • provide documentation of household (including spouse, etc.) income for the last six months 
  • SNAP (food stamp) recipients - bring card 
  • Social security benefits recipients - bring award letter
  • VALID drivers license or state issued ID
  • bring social security card
