Stimulus Update 2009: Mobile Works youth get on the job.
Tuesday, Jul 7th, 2009

Summer fun and relaxation takes a back seat to paid work experience for area youth participating in Mobile Works' Summer Jobs Program. This summer, youth ages 17-24 are being paid $8 per hour to work at area non-profit and governmental agencies. Their job duties range from clerical to construction and maintenance. "We are thrilled to provide this opportunity to area youth, states Sydney Raine, Mobile Works President. "Youth are earning money, spending money in the community and gaining valuable job experience. It's a win-win situation."
