Job Readiness Classes Available at the Alabama Career Center Thursday, Mar 5th, 2009 Are you ready to enter the workforce and need help preparing for a job interview? If so, please visit the Alabama Career Center. Mobile Works, Inc. in conjunction with the Alabama Career Center offers Job Readiness Seminars presented in a series of one hour classes.
"Our classes will be very interactive and include lectures, role-playing, guest speakers and hands-on demonstrations," states Job Readiness Coordinator/Marketing Director, Pamela Ware. Please call 251/432-0909 ext. 140 to reserve a space due to a limited class size.

Our goal is to support existing businesses by ensuring that job seekers have the basic skills needed to succeed in the workplace."

In addition to job readiness classes, the Alabama Career center offers job search assistance, career counseling, skills training scholarships (must meet eligibility requirements), specialized training to assist job seekers with disabilities, veterans services, GED/Bishop State Adult Basic Education and seasonal worker transition services -works.org.
